Take two

I have a confession to make. I set up this blog almost a year ago. I posted twice, and then I left it alone. Life got busy. I got lazy, and my dream of blogging never became a reality.

But here’s to second chances.

At first, I was skeptical about starting a blog because I thought blogging was just an online journal where people either vented about their lives or posted pictures of cats. I was not opposed to the second idea, though. But then I started reading more blogs, and the more I read the more I wanted a blog of my own.

But what would I write about that anyone would care to read about?

I still don’t know the answer to that question, but I’m going to test my poorly constructed hypothesis.

I think people will read real stuff from real people. People are generally interested in other people. That’s why I follow people on Instagram. That’s why I read through my friends’ Facebook pages, even though I act like I hate it. People want to know about other people, especially nowadays.

So that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to share my everyday experiences and thoughts. One day I might post about finding the meaning of life and the next about something fun I did.

I’m not perfect. My life is not a fairytale, and it’s certainly not that exciting. But it is unique.

Everyone’s life is unique to them. We all see different things, talk to different people and live in different corners of the earth. Even if we spent the entire day together, we would still both see different things because the way we perceive things are unique to each of us.

So here’s life through my eyes…
